Dear readers,
I missed several posts, but they will be coming—or rather, I will get back to the regular schedule—in the next few days.
I will follow Benjamin Franklin’s advice to “never ruin an apology with an excuse” (at least the quote is attributed to him most of the time on the interwebs) and refrain from giving excuses or reasons.
Instead, I’ll let you know that the next post will complement the one on Neiman Marcus and focus on Stanley Marcus, son of co-founder Herbert Marcus. Stanley Marcus ran the company until the end of the 20th century and took it to the next level of success. Then, we’ll take a look at Steinbeck’s perspective on Texas.
Thank you for your patience (which is an important virtue 😉) and understanding!
I subscribe for the quality of your posts, not the quantity. I'm more than happy to wait.
